Majeed, a 21-year-old Arabian gelding, presented to Animal Imaging with a several year history of chronic, intermittent, purulent nasal discharge regardless of instituted therapy. He was managed with staged extractions of 108, 109, and 110 following dental radiographs and oral examinations. Post extraction radiographs are shown below.
Storm, 9-year-old Holsteiner gelding used as a Jumper, presented to Animal Imaging for magnetic resonance imaging of the bilateral forefeet. He has an acute onset history of grade 2/5 right front limb lameness that resolves to diagnostic anesthesia of the right palmar digital nerves.
Socks, 10-year-old male neutered Shepard mix, presented to Animal Imaging for abdominal ultrasound. He originally presented to his primary DVM after concerns of weight gain, polyuria and polydipsia, and previous diagnosis of hyperadrenocorticism.
Sky, a 13-year-old male neutered domestic short hair cat, presented to Animal Imaging for thyroid scan prior to receiving treatment with I-131 therapy. He has a history of uncontrolled hyperthyroidism and weight loss regardless of increasing Methimazole dosing.
Dancer, 3 year old spayed-female Sheepdog, presented to Animal Imaging for skull and thoracic computed tomography following a history of chronic epistaxis.
Misty, 10-year-old quarter horse mare used for barrel racing, presented to her primary veterinarian for a chronic grade 2/5 left forelimb lameness. When blocked to palmar digital nerve anesthesia, the lameness switches to a grade 1.5/5 right forelimb lameness.
Kody, a 13-week-old male neutered Irish Wolfhound dog, presented to Animal Imaging for computed tomography (CT) after a history of being unthrifty with elevated bile acids and ALP on initial bloodwork.
Tank, 4-year-old male neutered French Bulldog, presented to Animal Imaging for esophageal fluoroscopy after a history of chronic dysphagia and regurgitation.
Dash, a 3-year-old Thoroughbred racehorse, presented to Animal Imaging for additional diagnostics after concern of decreased performance. A bilateral palmar digital nerve block improves the horse’s performance. Due to poor performance history, nuclear scintigraphy was performed to localize active sites of pain.
Gunner is an 8 year-old quarter horse used for barrel racing that was a grade 3/5 lame on the left hind limb with the lameness more evident when traveling to the right. No response to hoof testers.
