Come learn with us!

At Animal Imaging, our passion is finding answers for veterinarians through imaging, which enables them to make decisions and give peace of mind to their clients. We value a supportive team environment and encourage growth and collaboration with each other.

Since our founding in 2004, we have strived to maintain an environment that fosters the best in client and patient support, excellence in imaging and interpretation, and authentic interaction with our colleagues. We are proud to have a congenial, supportive team that extends not only within the office but virtually to our teleradiologists as well.

Our clinic is located 10 minutes from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in the heart of the exciting, diverse, and fast growing Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. If you are looking for a great place to live, work and raise a family, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is the place to be.

At Animal Imaging, we care about our veterinarians and staff and it shows in our outstanding, collaborative, and supportive work environment.

Our Imaging Externship Program gives students exposure to multiple modalities of diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasonography, and radiography. Opportunities for exposure in equine anesthesia, sports medicine, and lameness diagnosis are also available.

The externs are offered hands-on experience with our small animal and equine patients and doctors during their appointments. Externs will develop skills in veterinary radiology such as image acquisition, interpretation, anesthesia, etc.

  • On-site housing includes a fully furnished apartment with a private bedroom and kitchen area.
  • Externships are recommended in the spring, summer, and fall.

Externship opportunities are open to veterinary students with basic horse handling experience, proof of liability insurance, health insurance and a signed release form.
