Equine Anesthesiology

What You Need To Know About Equine Anesthesiology

Animal Imaging is proud to have Dr. Carrie Davis, a board-certified anesthesiologist, in-house to assist with all patients that come to our facility for imaging. A board-certified anesthesiologist is a specialist that receives their bachelor’s degree and a four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree followed by a one-year internship and three-year residency program. This residency program qualifies them to take the anesthesiology board certification exam.

A board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist will provide the highest possible standard of care available for your horse.

Our board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist focuses on safety with the priority solely on administering the anesthetics to your horse and managing the inherent risks.
